WebJan 2, 2014 · One advantage of OCW is you can use a 100 yd range, while with a ladder you get better results at longer ranges. Not true at all. Sorry. I have been doing OCW now since 2005 and once I have a load done it shoots in all rifles and at all distances. Back then I had a Savage 110FLP in .308win and the OCW load was 43.4grns IMR4064 with 168 or 175smks.

Next you move to seating depth and find that the group actually starts improving as you seat deaper.
