WebOct 3, 2015 · Idyllic English village. We visited with friends who live locally and explored the walk along the river to Byron's Pool before heading into Grantchester proper. It was sunny so the views along by the water were spectacular! Our route took us past Geoffrey Archer's house and grounds and we saw a few of his animal sculptures in the garden.
