I have ridden it several times and it handles everything pretty well. I recommend this bike but I also recommend swapping out the stock tires for something a little more grippy. WebThe Kona also has a wider gear range, which is nice if you live anywhere that's not fairly flat. That's also something you could change later on the Diamondback, though. Overall, I think the Kona is a slightly more practical commuter-bike out of the box. I have a 2.3 out back and diamondback told me max it will clear is 2.4 and that looks accurate. In retrospect boost spacing would have been nice but I really love the bike, very snappy and playful.
